Empire Dinner Party is a storytelling board game where players become time-traveling recipe seekers unraveling the tangled legacies of colonial cuisine. As they move through a pachisi-inspired board, players collect Flavour Archive cards—recipes rooted in memory, resistance, and joy—and Culinary Quest cards that uncover forgotten heroes, hidden histories, and foodways lost or preserved. Each journey culminates in a personal Dinner Menu, where players curate their dishes and add their own food story to the mix. There are no winners—only shared meals, layered memories, and queer, open-ended endings. The game invites collective play, reflection, and celebration across time and taste.
