Campervan Collective

Shruti is co-founder of Campervan Collective, a participatory public art initiative formed during her MA in Contemporary Art Practice at the Royal College of Art, London.

The collective have created the Carnival of CollaborART, Textile Time Machine, After Judy and Ode Art Picnic; unique, mobile pop-up art festivals in public places. Their events aim to make art accessible to all through simple fun workshops and interactive absurd performance art embracing play and humour. The collective parks on the margins, borders, and edges of the art world engaging people of all ages. Their aim is to build bridges between diverse perspectives through play and create conversations and community by making art together.

Collective includes artists Shruti Gaonkar, Frankie Father, Sarah Allen and Suzi Bratt.
