I am currently developing a long-term body of work titled Shunya, where I work with hand-felting, natural dyeing, natural fibers, reclaimed textiles, and collaborative engagements to create speculative soft architectures, holding fragilities and performative spaces of collective care. Shunya engages with ecological entanglements, land memory, and postcolonial material histories.

Sourcing indigenous wool fibers via Desi Oon initiative of the Center of Pastoralism, I work with indigenous nomadic wool from Kutch region of Bhuj and also Ladakh mountains. Sustainably sourced from Looms of Ladakh which is a women’s initiative based in Leh, they work in processing  local wool, dyeing and weaving. These fibres tell stories of the land, air, nomadic life and intermingling of ecology with labor.
